Google has just announced that the latest version of Google Earth for Android now includes support for Android 3.0 (Honeycomb). Google Earth can now take full advantage of the tablet-optimized Android operating system. Making use of the tablet’s large screen and powerful processors, Google Earth for Android adds a whole lot of pizzazz to the already interesting app.
Google Earth for Android now makes Earth look better ? with fully textured 3D buildings, an option to “fly to your location”, layers like Places, Panoramio photos, and Wikipidea. The tablet-optimized app also now includes pop up boxes to take advantage of the additional real estate ? no more having to go back and forth to different screens. Just head to m.google.com/earth on your Honeycomb browser or visit the Android Market to get the latest version of the app.
